Park Falls Wisconsin Murder

Christopher Dyer, a 50-year-old Park Falls man being held in the Price County Jail on a $1,000,000 cash bond for the offense of First Degree Intentional Homicide. He is allegedly the suspect in connection with the shooting in Park Falls that resulted in a death on April 13, 2024.

After fleeing the scene, Dyer was allegedly arrested in the Minocqua area without incident. Price County Sheriff's Office and Park Falls Police Department stated that the Wisconsin Department of Justice (DOJ) is handling the investigation.

The alleged victim, Denise J. Schwarz, age 57, of Park Falls, was pronounced deceased at the scene of 2nd Ave N. in Park Falls, WI.

Denise was a bartender in Medford, a DJ, and a quality control worker at Abbyland in Curtis for many years. In 2019, she moved to Tennessee and worked in quality control for Swaggerty Sausage. She moved back to Wisconsin in 2022.
